LearnToSucceed is a person-to-person self-development opportunity which calls for being in touch with other people, and sharing information.  IT IS NOT a "multilevel marketing" venture.  It definitely is NOT a “pyramid scheme”.   Each participant is rewarded for his or her own efforts, NOT the efforts of someone else. LearnToSucceed uses no “sales force”, since no one actually “sells” or “buys” anything to become an active participant.  Individuals choose to “enroll” in the program, very much as they would in any other on-line educational program.  Learn To Succeed is unique in that it provides a self development opportunity for participants while at the same time allowing them to earn money if they choose.  Participants have access to a growing collection of tips, tools and techniques which, if applied, are likely to make a definite difference in the development and use of his/her unique personal potential.  Their challenge is to make others aware of our existence and to educate them as to how to get in touch with us, a little like a signpost on a highway.

“Active” participants benefit finacially by performing the function of “advertising” the program and its potential benefits, either by word of mouth, in person, or by phone, or by distributing personal “invitations” to participate, whether face-to-face, by “snail” mail, or by e-mail. The task of an active participant is, quite simply, to “successfully” spread the word about the LearnToSucceed.net web site, and the potential benefits of participation.  In order to be compensated she/he must always make sure that each prospective participant is supplied with the active participant’s assigned code number.  This code number is required for an active participant to be compensated for his or her efforts, if the “prospect” decides to participate.  The referral number is the key.

Simply stated, participants are compensated for “successfully directing" the attention of others to the LearnToSucceed.net web site, which provides all the information needed to become a participant, as well as the means for getting involved. The measure of success, in this regard, is the enrollment of the referred party as an active participant.

It is important to remember that LearnToSucceed participants are rewarded for their own personal efforts, not the efforts of someone else.  Many people have been caught up in the “magic” of multilevel marketing opportunities only to find that they do not have the numerous varied skills, or financial resources required to create, conduct or maintain a successful “sales” business.  While many have the desire, and feel “a need to succeed”, many do not have the time, the financial resources, or the energy to create and/or sustain the dream over the long haul.  Too often they end up “owing” more than they earn, with their investment adding up to zero, too often having created a huge debt in helping to fulfill someone else’s dream.

While LearnToSucceed does not require anyone to make any purchases of any kind, payment of an enrollment/participation fee is required. This initial fee (of either $79.95 as a personal referral, or $99.95 without a personal referral) is paid by any adult individual choosing to enroll in the program and must be charged to a valid credit card in the name of the enrollee. The enrollment fee includes the first year’s annual participation fee, which, currently, is $12.

Along with the opportunity to be compensated for his/her efforts in successfully pointing others in our direction, each active participant gains access to a growing "library" of educational materials we identify as tips, tools and techniques which others have found to be useful in developing personal potential.  Links to websites which offer a variety of learning and personal development materials, covering a vast array of topics, is available by password to Participants.  Many of these materials can prove extremely beneficial if explored and put to use in the ongoing process of self-awareness and personal development.

Qualified Active Participants will be financially rewarded for successfully inviting others to participate.

The only expenditure of money required for interested people to become and remain “Active Participants” is the one-time enrollment fee, plus the recurring annual fee described above. Participants, in good standing, have the option to remain active in the program as long as they choose, simply by paying the renewal fee each year.  Any increase in the annual participation fee is not expected to exceed 10 percent in any year.

After successfully completing the enrollment process each new participant selects a password which will allow access to the many valuable features of the web site, including the “Tips, Tools and Techniques” section which provides a listing of an extensive variety of other sites featuring a variety of methods for facilitating self discovery/development. Each newly-enrolled participant receives a packet of materials by mail, including:

3. suggestions for sharing this learning opportunity with others; and
4. a Form W-9 to provide us with information required by U.S. Internal Revenue Service which must be completed and returned to us before receiving any compensation for participating in the Learn To Succeed program.  Allow me to explain how Learn To Succeed works, using YOU as an example.

First, someone tells you about our web site, providing you with an introductory code number which has been especially assigned to him/her for use in contacting potential new participants. Use of that code number will provide YOU with a substantial instant discount in the on-line enrollment fee and allows the referring party to be compensated for telling you about the program.  This feature tends to encourage people to choose to use that method of becoming an active participant. The only time actually required in enrolling new participants is in making the initial contact, in which you will direct their attention to the LearnToSucceed.net web site. All information needed to participate, and to enroll, will be found on the web site. Enrollment will also be via the web site. Each active participant will have an identifying number to be shared with prospective members. Say, for example, you are an active Participant and you tell someone about our learning program.  Once they successfully register to participate, having keyed in the code number which has been assigned by us, to YOU, which YOU have provided to them, either in person, or though some other means of communication, your “JOB” is complete.

8. Money isn’t my objective, so what’s in in for me?

Learn To Succeed is not necessarily about earning money. Many people feel no need for extra resources. Learn To Succeed is about assisting people in making the most of their own individual potential, which often has nothing at all to do with money. Many people will see the potential the program holds for other people, such as friends or family members who could use some extra income. Many will feel personally rewarded, simply by pointing the way toward an opportunity for another human being to have more and/or to be more.

9. Just don’t see the need to “Learn To Succeed”. Convince me it’s necessary in my life at age “over 60”.

If you are completely satisfied with your life as it is and it is likely to be, without making any changes, Learn to Succeed may not be an avenue you want to explore. If, on the other hand, the spark of life is still glowing brightly within you, you may have more potential left than you have realized...or used to your personal advantage. 10. Is it necessary to have a credit card to participate?

Yes, in order to compensate our participants as generously as we do, while, at the same time investing in ongoing research to keep our tips, tools and techniques current, we must keep our clerical, bookkeeping and accounting costs as low as possible. Requiring the use of a personal credit card saves a tremendous amount of both time and paper work, allowing us to compensate you, the participant, for doing our advertising for us.

11. What if I do not have a credit card?

Many banks and credit card companies will issue a “secured” credit card to individuals who, for one reason or another, cannot qualify for an unrestricted card. Generally a cash deposit is required which allows the card holder to “charge” up to the amount that has been deposited.

12. How soon can I expext to be "paid"?

Credit card companies, as a rule, have a stated period of time, usually sixty days or more, in which a credit card user can void a transaction. Working within these guidelines, participants will be compensated for "enrolling" new participants after this period of time has elapsed, generally speaking, within seventy (70) days of the new transaction.

13. How will I know when someone has enrolled using my referral number?

The only notice you will receive that someone has enrolled using your referral number will be, a check in the mail. If you wish to know who in your circle of associates has “signed on” as a result of your contact, you might request that they let you know when they have taken the necessary steps to become participants, so that you can suggest ideas for sharing the opportunity with others. Depending on the methods you use to share the information about Learn To Succeed, you may not even be acquainted with some (or most) of the people who sign in as a result of your advertising efforts. In your packet of information you will receive examples of handouts which you might want to personalize (with your identifying code number) and reproduce to distribute wherever you happen to be, either close to home or far away.

14. How soon can I access the Tips, Tools and Techniques section of the web site? How do I do that?

As soon as your application is processed and approved, online, on the LearnToSucceed.net web site, you will have access to the Tips, Tools and Techniques section, just as if you were making a purchase, or enrolling in any other online course of study. You will be select a personal password which you can use immediately as the key to unlock the door to a wealth of information which can have value for you as the intelligent human you are.

15. Are there limitations as to how many people I can “invite” to join?

You can invite as many people to participate, as you choose... people you know, as well as people you don’t know. There are no assigned sales “territories”, because there is nothing to sell. Learn To Succeed is a do-it-yourself method for making the most of human intelligence, talents and abilities. It is a way to learn more, earn more, see more and BE more, doing whatever YOU do best. 16. If I change my mind, is there a refund?

As noted earlier, most credit card companies have an established cancellation policy, which can occur in a specific time frame. For this reason, we must allow a certain number of days before paying referral fees to active participants who successfully invite others to participate in the program. A partial refund may be issued during the 20 day introductory period as stated in the Conditions of Use/Disclaimer.

17. Can I still participate and receive credit if I am not an active member?

No. Only those who are currently active in the program can benefit financially from enrolling new participants. “Active” status is maintained by payment of an annual fee, which at the present time, is $12.00 per year. The first year’s participation fee is included in your initial payment.

18. How do I receive my password and code number?

Upon payment of your enrollment fee by credit card, a code number keyed to your individual account will be assigned. You will then select your own personal password.

19. Who has access to my credit card account? Is this secure?

All of your personal information will be processed through a secure credit processing operation. The information you provide will be used only for participating in the Learn To Succeed program.

20. Does my credit card company charge a fee for credits to my account?

Generally speaking, a credit card account is charged for purchases made using that account. Different companies have different policies regarding returns and credits to an account. If you have questions about your credit card, you would be well advised to contact the company which issued your card to you.

21. Is there a penalty if I do not enlist any new participants?

Your level of participation is determined by no one but you. You have the opportunity to be an active participant, which would include inviting others to join, or you can simply use this as a personal learning opportunity, to learn more about your own self, developing as much of your own personal potential, as you choose.

22. What is the main objective of this program? Is this an original program? What makes it different from other “self-help” programs?

Learn To Succeed is basically a self-education project intended to facilitate the development of human potential. The learning portion of the project is strictly up to the participants, allowing each to choose the degree to which his/her life will change. One major difference in this and other “self-help” programs is that you, as a participant, will be encouraged to share this learning opportunity with others. Even as you focus on “helping” yourself, you can assist others in doing the same.

23. Is there a way to become a “lifetime” member?

As long as the annual membership fee is paid, you will be considered an active participant, and, as such, you will continue to be eligible to assist others in becoming participants.

24. Do I have to claim this as income?

Yes, even though you will participate in our program as an independent contractor, NOT as an employee. Any payment we make to your account, as a means of “rewarding” you for your participation, must be considered, by you, to be earned income, paid by us to you. If the amount, paid by us to you, equals $600 in any calendar year we are required to provide you, and the Internal Revenue Service with a form 1099 reporting this income.  When your introductory packet is delivered to you, it will include an IRS Form 9 to be completed by you, including your social security number, as well as any other information required by the I.R.S. and returned to us, by mail, before you receive any form of compensation by us in most cases. 

25. What will I receive for my participation fee? How will that money be used?

Each participant’s introductory packet will include:

1. a self-study Guidebook entitled “Learn To Succeed”
2. a variety of suggestions for using this personal learning opportunity for the greatest return on time and energy invested
3. samples of “advertising” materials which can be photocopied, (with your personal code number added) and used for extending an invitation for others to participate, either in person, by mail, e-mail, etc. 

In addition to providing the educational opportunities made available through LearnToSucceed.net, and rewarding the participants financially for the advertising role they play in bringing this to the attention of potential participants, a substantial portion of the proceeds will be made available, through donation to a nonprofit educational foundation.
