Teamwork Pays!

    Since Earth is the home we share, would it not make sense to consider ourselves members of the “home team”, regardless of where we are living, at the moment?  Would a more sensible, intelligent, productive approach to life call for using and sharing resources more wisely?  Would a smart move include seeking ways to work together more effectively, as “team members”, using teamwork, rather than as competitors, hell-bent on outdoing all the others?  What on Earth is the secret you showed up right here to share?  Is it still clearly hidden, deep within your heart somewhere?    

Most of us humans have the ability to change the world, as we see it. This is done by simply changing the way we view our world. Outlook and attitude have a tremendous influence on surrounding conditions. Even when this phenomenon has been experienced, it is seldom a topic of quiet, peaceful conversation. It is not a subject often discussed in most homes, or even in our schools. Usually nothing of this sort is mentioned except through “heated exchange”, when one person is trying to win a point over another. The way the life-changing process works may seem a bit mysterious, until we experiment with it playfully, with all our working senses both present and active. For a few moments, think about the subject of friendship, if you will. Do you consider yourself a friendly person? Do you make friendly gestures toward others? Is your attitude reflected in the expressions which move quickly across your face? How about the way in which you hold your body and the (often unconscious) physical gestures you make? Is it possible your words, your face and your body language are telling the world a different story?       

Most “friendly” successful people more than likely would classify the following statements as being true.       

If people expect to find a friend wherever they go, and choose to act that way, the chances are that is what will take place.       

If, on the other hand, people expect to find an enemy, an enemy almost always appears, often being combative to whatever degree was expected.       

And...If positive thinkers expect to be successful in some adventure, or other, and move freely in that direction, the chances are great that is precisely what will come to be...       

People whose thinking has been severely limited, for one reason or another, often appear to be somewhat “handicapped” in the thinking process. Limited thinkers are likely to label a positive approach to life as optimism, or idealism, as if those states of mind are signs and symptoms of some kind of dreadful disease. Others, who take a more accepting, lighter-hearted approach to life, might call it realism. Pessimism, on the other hand, takes an entirely different path, having vastly different, often dark, dire, non-pleasing, even painful results.

(A Technique)  Remembering and acting as if cause and effect always have the upper hand...which is true, of course, can have amazing results. Rather than seeking to become objects of envy, many optimistic realists become respected teachers, demonstrators and performers, using a “pragmatic” approach to learning and sharing life’s continuing lessons.  

Truly successful humans generally choose to do whatever works, as long as the action taken will not harm any person, place or thing, of course. Being willing to recognize an opportunity and to take an affordable chance, quite often has amazing results.       

Before proceeding, it might be useful to note that the greatest stumbling blocks when seeking to be “successful” in any particular endeavor can arise either from the “fear” of being successful, or, the fear of NOT being successful, as strange as that may seem.       

(A Tip) One HUGE “thing” that holds many back from success has to do with money...or a perceived need for, or perhaps an apparent lack of money. Fear is usually the needless basis for this concern. Is this true of you?
